A philosophy
rooted in nature
1
The Triguna Theory
Our approach is rooted in the three fundamental energies of nature - Sattva (balance), Rajas (action), and Tamas (inertia). We foster Sattva through awareness, drive Rajas via community action, and transform Tamas by shifting behaviors.
2
UN Sustainability Goals
Aligned with the 17 goals set by the UN, ICE is already on the mission to combat climate change and protect the environment.
3
Life
A Government of India initiative, LiFE is an India-led global movement aimed at enabling individuals and communities to protect the environment while honoring India’s sustainable traditions.
Expert solutions for catalyzing climate action
With climate change accelerating and its effects becoming more severe, there is an urgent need to change human behavior towards nature and its available resources. ICE is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions that protect lives, livelihoods and the environment.
Meet the beating heart of ICE
At ICE, we believe sustainability begins with the way we communicate - not just through policies and technologies, but also by engaging people. Guided by the Triguna Theory, our approach is to build awareness, create behavioral nudges, and inspire meaningful action. It is through this balance of thought, transformation and stakeholder engagement, we empower individuals and institutions to shape a planet that is sustainable and truly alive - for generations to come.

Hosted at S.D.N.B. Vaishnav College, the event followed net-zero practices: no plastic, water in mud pots, and responsible waste management.
Workshops on Water Management and Sustainable Living offered hands-on insights.
A highlight was the pledge ceremony, where children and Mr. S. Balakrishnan (Chief Guest) committed to sustainable living — a powerful step toward a greener future.

Sustainable practices at Chennai Vandalur Zoo
The Chennai Vandalur Zoo, a vital part of Tamil Nadu’s ecological landscape, sought to minimise its environmental footprint and incorporate sustainable practices across operations. ICE partnered with the Rotary Club of Madras (RCM), offering expert insights, research-backed guidance and essential tools to ensure the Zoo achieves its sustainability objectives.
As a knowledge partner, ICE played an instrumental role in providing technical frameworks for conducting energy and water audits. We also helped engage various stakeholders and introduced credible vendors, establishing a robust mechanism to implement sustainable solutions. Our efforts resulted in creating environmental awareness among the staff and visitors; provided actionable insights that helped reduce water and energy consumption and paved the way for a sustainable future.
Driving sustainability in Real Estate with DRA projects
ICE partnered with DRA Aadithya Projects Private Limited, a leading real estate company, to integrate sustainability into DRA’s residential and commercial developments. This collaboration perfectly aligns with our ‘Built Environment Initiative’, focusing on transforming urban spaces into environmentally responsible ecosystems.
Our partnerships and various initiatives
ICE thrives on its collaborative spirit, forging meaningful partnerships with diverse organisations to address the pressing climate challenges. In collaboration with Sri City, ICE is laying the foundation for its state-of-the-art campus which is envisioned to set benchmarks in sustainability education and research. Partnerships with legal and policy experts like J. Sagar Associates (JSA) further strengthens our ability to drive impactful policy advocacy and governance solutions. ICE also partnered with the Rotary Club of Madras (RCM) for community-driven environmental projects, demonstrating its commitment to grassroots sustainability.
Through these partnerships, ICE supports initiatives like the Southern Super Stars, a regional integration that raises climate awareness through community engagement. These collaborations reflect our holistic approach to addressing climate change through education, innovation, and action.
